Time-lapse photography is amazing because it reveals the unseen details of the natural world.
This video represents 200 hours of actual recording time, between March 8 and March 21. capturing one video frame every 30 seconds, using a Logitech C920 webcam, with some further editing because apparently I can’t stop bumping the camera.
The starring pepper sprouts in order of appearance are Jalapenos, which are a bit early to start to be honest but that’s another post. Paprik Peppers, a mild-sweet “Hungarian” variety. Paprika spice is made from a variety of chili peppers, this is the type I use. Ghost Pepper (Bhut jolokia), known in infamy as one of the original super-hot peppers. This variety is a hybrid called Wicked Ghost and has a listed Scoville rating of 800,000 SHU.
Didn’t make the show.. I’m also starting Cayenne and Pepperoncini peppers. Maybe next shot pepps…
